The Travis County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office is looking for men and women who possess the highest standard of integrity, dedication, and dependability and want to be part of an advanced and dynamic team. Our Precinct is a quickly developing, expanding, and thriving community located in Travis County and the city of Austin. Our precinct is the largest precinct in Travis County and covers the northern section of the county with approximately 400 square miles and 1900 miles of roadways through 7 cities including Austin, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Lakeway, and Lago Vista. The entirety of Lake Travis, the influential shopping and residential area known as The Domain, and the Austin FC Major League Soccer Q2 Stadium are all Precinct 2 landmarks.

 

Along with our fast-growing community, the Constable Pct. 2 office is leading the way in telecommunications and technology. The Precinct 2 Constable Office dispatches for all 5 Constable Offices in Travis County and led the effort to obtain the CAD system that provides a significant leap for our Telecommunications team. Our Office was the first Constable Office to obtain computerized ticket writers and the CRASH program for accident reporting. We are currently building a system for all Constables in Travis County that will streamline the report writing process.

 

The Precinct 2 Constable Office believes in having well-trained Deputies. Our Office spends 10% of the annual operating budget for training purposes, not including our own routine in-house training. We also believe in building relationships through Community Outreach because it helps increase trust and understanding between Residents and Law Enforcement.
