Explorers Clean Graffiti From Austin Parks

Writer's picture: tcco2admintcco2admin

On March 20th, Central Texas Explorers from Travis County Constable Explorer Post 711, Travis County Sheriff's Office Post 1099, and Austin Police Department Explorer Post 1000 took time out of their Spring Break to give back to the community and clean up graffiti around the Austin area. They also received a command briefing on safety by none other than K-9 Reserve Deputy Brody. We would like to thank the City of Austin Public Works Neighborhood Partnering Program for their help and support.

The Explorers performed the clean-up tasks with enthusiasm and good spirits while erasing the graffiti and visibly transforming these parks and locations from an eyesore to a clean and respectable environment. Afterwards, the advisors took all the explorers bowling and then to Mighty Fine for a job well done.
